Heads Alu or iron??
I am going to invest in a new set of heads for my 305tbi. For Overall performance, which would be better, a set of Aluminum Heads or Cast Iron? I am building up my engine for high performance street use and weekend trips to the road course. Which would be better for my engine?
Thanks

if you are plannign to routinely run higher rpm at the track, i would say go with iron. teh thigher rpm will create a lto more temp adn iron heads are more resistant to fatigue from temp cycling.
world products torquer 305's are a solid econimcal choice adn will maintain your stock compression. vortec's ae very good too, you will just have to buy a different style of intake.
