Running Lean.... any ideas

My car is running lean, to the point that it killed my cat and you can smell raw gas out the exhaust... this is bad and needs to be fixed... i'm putting on new plugs and wires this weekend... if this doesn't work, what would you suggest... keep it reasonable too, i'm on a budget, a tight one...
thanks

I'm not sure, but have you checked the Fuel Pressure Regulator? If that goes bad, I think it will run lean. Maybe have a look at the fuel filter.

unless I forgot, but I always thought the O2 sensor would make you run rich. because your mileage gets bad when the O2 sensor is getting bad.

CTS Sensor will do that too. Its the sensor in front of the thermostat. Check the voltage to that and see if thats working correctly.
