all about cams
im gonna replace my cam and i want to know what would be a good choice, my car is a 92 tbi 305, tell me what you think of this one
Specifications:
* Advertised duration: 254 intake/264 exhaust
* Duration at .050 in.: 194 intake/204 exhaust
* Gross valve lift: .401 in. intake/.423 in. exhaust
* Lobe separation: 104 degrees
* RPM range: 1,000 to 4,000
* Good idle, daily usage, off-road, towing, and economy, good low and mid-range torque and horsepower
its a crane compucam, give me some suggestions too.

Yep, could definitely be bigger (especially if you plan on upgrading the intake/exhaust systems).
Lots more lift, a little more duration, and a little more lobe separation should give you a good combination of torque, hp, and drivability.
Try a search on cams. There's been a lot of discussion lately.
