I have an 89 rs 305 tbi with a t5 anybody see any problems with putting a 6 speed in it also I have 2:73's Iwant to put 3:55 or 3:73 in it will this work without having to do any modifications other than the obdvious

 

Unless you plan on modding the 305TBI to pull at higher rpms, I wouldn't go with 3:73s for 1/4 mile performance.

 

yeah I plan on doing some mods to the motor I'm not sure yet as to what I'm going to do (build up the 305 switch to 350 or 383) that is still up in the air the reason I'm asking about the rear is its kinda beat it's been leaking and it whines a little
