hose clamp embarrassing question

Can't get the hose clamp off the coolant hose to my throttle body! The hose clamp isn't the usual steel worm drive I'm used to seeing. There is a raised hump that a screw goes into, I think it's called a tower clamp. Unscrewed but the clamp isn't loose? Not sure how to take off this hose clamp. Help please.

I hate those *** damn things! Basically what your have to do is loosen the screw as much as possible, then work the clamp loose. Most likely you will end up bending the crap out of it to get it off. It will take a while but keep working with it, it will come off. Then replace it with the good ol' fashion hose clamp.

Good luck!

CraZ-28 is right. Those things are terrible to remove!

You'll just have to work at it to get it off. Don't fret if you destroy it!

Just back the screw out and have at it with some pliers and a screwdriver. Break it.
