q's on a 350 rebuild and swap

q's on a 350 rebuild and swap
ok i have a 86 z28 305 5 speed and i am presently getting ready to build a 350 i have out of a 78 chevy truck.
i have a few questions one what cam shoudl i use
two how much power could it make.
three are my choices good ones.
the motor is a 350 with a .030 bore, i am planing on using flat top pistons and arp fasteners, using the stock heads but i am gonna port and pollish and do a valve job on them. a edelbrock performer eps manifold not sure what carb yet.
i want to beable to run atleast 6000 with out hurting the motor
any suggestions would be helpful. thanks
