Plugwires with headers

I'm planning on a set of hedman shorties and y-pipe and was wondering if if i'm going to be able to get away with using the straight boot accel wires i have on the car now. They are practically new and i'd hate to have to get new ones.

Yep, you need angled. Also get some wire looms, I didn't and burnt 3 separate pairs of wires. I also bought some heat sleeving and MSD wire separators.

The stock Packard Electric 8mm silicone wired with angled boots worked great with Edelbrock headers, and they'll take the heat with no problems. (This, of course, is AFTER the Accel wire failed.)

Wow! Daz is really Ron Jeremey!
However, get the right plug wires and a good wireloom set. The frustration of burnt and arcing plug wires will drive you batty fast!
