fixing 86 IROC..have some questions

Hi, I am buying my friends wrecked 86 iroc. Besides the hood, rt. fender and front piece, it needs a radiator. I am going to get all of the parts out of a wrecking yard to fix it. It is a 305 tpi motor...do I have to get a radiator from a TPI car or can it be a carborated one? I don't know if there is any difference between the radiators or not...let me know! thanks.

A little different

Uh, there is one small difference, The heater hose routing. Most carburated (TBI too?) fbody's had the heater hose run to the top of the water pump, this is not possible on a TPI, no clearance. there is an extra fitting on the passenger side of the radiator in TPI cars for the heater hose to hook up. Now other than this small difference they should be the same. And really isn't a problem if you decide to not run a heater core, and you block off the heater hoses on the TB and block.
