Recommend auto store gear oil

I have a SLP Posi and gears to install this week. I want to put good gear oil in it, but do not want to order from any place. I would like to just get some from a Pepboys, ABC, Auto Zone, etc. What kind do you suggest? Since I do not have a posi with clutch plates, I do not need Posi Additive, right?

Mobil 1 gear oil, there is no substitute. What kind of a posi unit are you putting in?

Get the best synthetic you can find. It only holds 2 quarts and probably won't be changed in a long time. I I read on this board that you should use the additive with the torsen limited slip you have, but don't have to.
