Anybody out there removed there ac system. Ive had my car for 3 years and its never worked and I really don't care for it. It just clutters up the engine compartment. I have t-tops so i never would use it anyway regarless of how hot it is. Besides when you drive real fast you get a real nice breeze.. ......D2M4E.

 

I removed mine. Got a AC delete heater box and put a AC delete pulley on and it looks so much better. I removed everything that dealed with the AC.

 

Where'd you get the heater box?

its made by four seasons...its 94606....ac delco makes one i think to but its around $50 i think...im not sure....D2M4E.

is the thing your talking about the actual cowling that goes around the heater box or is it just the heater core?
what would be nice is the A/C delete heater cowling that doesent come out so far into the engine compartment (to house the evaporator for the now useless A/C).
