Ok, im tired of the thump on every sharp left i take. I opened the spare tire area and found a long bolt with a hook on it, a shorter I bolt, a short bolt with a plastic handle on it, and a big ring thingy.

Whats the secret to putting it together? A pic would be great.

instead of trying to describe it over the keyboard, why don't you find somebody that will let you look at theirs or go to a salvage yard and check one out. that way you can visually see it.
