Clunking noise from Right Front tire

Me and a friend changed my rims and tires to the 91-92 camaro rims. My friend put the jack on the steel beam for the front suspension and started jacking it up. We heard a thud noise and the car dropped a bit but did not fall off the jack. We checked visually for anything broken but nothing visable. Then we drove the car and a clunking noise was coming from the right front tire area. It happened while driving staight and was more noticable when turning right. We checked for rubbing and nothing noticable. Any ideas. Thanks

I've had "clunk" noises that turned out to be several different things. A bad Caliper, A-Arm Bushing, Ball-Joint, Idler Arm, you name it. It'll get easier to find as it gets worse.(I know that's not much comfort, but I'm just being honest)
With stiff springs it can be difficult to find where the loose part is, since everything's under so much tension.
Keep poking around and you'll find it sooner or later....hopefully before something breaks.
Good Luck.

Yeah, i just drove it home (about a block) and parked it. I have another car to drive so I'll check to see what I can find tonight.

Well, i replaced the passenger side rotor and inner/outer bearings. It still makes the noise when you crank the wheel to the right but its not as loud. It makes the sound about once for every time the wheel turns. Sounds more like a rubbing sound than metal hitting something. Any ideas?

Check the clearance between the inner bead of the wheel and the caliper and steering arm. You'll probably have to look with the car sitting on the ground to check thoroughly for all clearances.

Check the wheel balancing weights to make sure they are not hitting anything.

They are VERY VERY close but I can't tell if they're hitting. I guess there would be a nick or something visible if it were, but I didn't have much time and wasn't dressed to be crawling under a car at the time.
