Redline has more to do with the engine's endurance than performance. Spring strength and con-rod strength are what dictate redline. Shift points should be slightly after max power. The stock L98 heads are the big kink in your setup. That cam will run to 6 and so will the manifold. The heads won't make much power past 5500, unless they've been worked. If it were me I'd shift anywher between 5500 and 6000.

like was already said where you stop making power or valve float, you running stock springs? that may be the weakest link, just like the TV show

Your engine probably won't go to 6000 with stock valve springs in it on top of that much cam, and still produce meaningful power. And even if it does, it won't do it very many times before one of them breaks. If you've ever seen the inside of a motor that has dropped a valve due to a broken spring, you'll no doubt recall that valve fragments are incompressible.

Also, a 600 CFM carb won't allow enough air in for the engine to produce power at high RPMs. Your torque curve should crater at about 5200 RPM.

Get some real valve springs on there ASAP before you experience a tragedy. With the right springs, your shift point should probably be around 5200-5400, and go through the lights at 5600. Get your car to a chassis dyno and see where it actually makes power, and determine your shift points accordingly. I think that you'll find, like most people do, that it's pointless to wind your motor up to any 6000 RPM.
