Ok I am porting my intake base, and plenum this weekend. I just want to do it right before I do it. I have done search after search and decided on this.


Siamesing the runners on teh base about 3 inches in. matching gaskets to the base/runners and runners/plenum and smothing out the divider's on the plenum where the runners go. and cutting down the EGR walls at the front of the pelum.

do you think that will be good about to port? thanks

 

When you get inside of the plenum you'll be able to see what needs to be done. Seriously, it is obvious. You're siamesing the base, right? Yeah, that is good. 3 inches is taking out a lot of meat, you'll see when you get down in there I guess. I'm not sure if anyone has figured what the best to do on a stock engine is, so good luck with that.
