sluggish/bog/no acceleration when warmed up.
I have a new cat ...soo..i think thats out...i do understand that engines run better when cold..but.. this is rediculus..
i can spin the TIRE..from a standstill ..when cold (i know its not good) but within 5 minutes from being cold.. it bogs bad and is extremely sluggish when warm....i have a 180 thermo....and the manifold.. is stinging HOT...enough to leave a burn mark on your finger.. as well as the carb.. and i do have a pheumolic (spelling?)spacer.................
..the fuel has got to be boiling in the bowl..

If the intake manifold and carb are getting real hot I'd
look for an restricted exhaust or a bad water pump or lower rad hose.
You can block off the exhaust heat riser passage between the head and manifold on the performer manifold. It doesn't need near as much heat as the cast iron intake especially in the summer.

If it makes you feel better, I have the same problem with mine getting slugginsh when warm. I have an open element filter, and when it gets hot under the hood, it feels like my motor has lost 30 horsepower over when its cold. I am going to fab up costum cowl induction soon, to see if i can keep it from sucking hot air. My camaro has dryer hose ram air, and it is just as quick (can I really say that) warm as cold, but theres no way the stock intake setup with some dryer hose would feed my trans am.
