My 85 iroc 305 tpi started running awful. So I did the normal tune up. Cap,rotor,wires and plugs and o2sensor and changed the oil and filter. Car was still running awful so I bypassed the est and set the timming to 6btdc . Still no change . So I changed the fuel filter and pvc. Checked all injectors and their all at 11 - 13.

Any suggetions would be appreciated !!

 

do compression test, check vacumn, check FP and volumn

 

I'll test fuel pressure and volume 2marrow.
for the vacum I insepted all the lines and they all seem fine .
Is there another to test for vacum..

 

having similar problems and hope for more feedback....

 

I thought the same thing it could be somthing the same,check your timing,but now I might need a new engine.

 

Finally had time to work on car. found loose wires going into the fuel pump relay. (repaired them ) Still no help .
Fuel pressure 44psi sprayed water around vacum lines and intake no bogging
rechecked the gap on plugs all .035
all injectors getting power and resistance 16.6 on all.
rechecked timming 6dbtdc in by pass around 14db with est connected.
had ignition module tested its o.k.
any other ideas ????
