cam break in

Im gonna install a new cam in my small block....can someone who knows well about it give me the procedure on breaking the cam in

when adjusting a hydraulic lifter i beleive you tighten the rocker till there no more space between the valve tip and the rocker tip? correct?

Well it's a little more complicated than that Check out this link

Once that's done start the car, set the timing quickly, then bring the rev's up to somewhere between 2500-3000 and let it run for around 20 minutes. Now if it's a roller cam, don't worry about it, theoretically roller cams don't need a break in period, though I usually still do it just to be on the safe side.

use a lot of moly on the cam lobes, i'd fill it with 30w oil and change it after 30-60 miutes.
