Are my lifters bad??

Ok after reassembling my engine, I reused my roller lifters with my new LT4 cam.

Im in the garage trying to get the valve lash and here is what happens on some of the rocker arms.

I'll keep tightening them, but they still wiggle (the rocker arms). and the adjusting nuts are way too far down compared to the good valves. With the engine running, I'll get them to stop clicking, then like 10 seconds later they'll click again ...

Whats the deal?? Is there any way to solve this besides pulling the intake and getting $400 lifters?

you don't tighten till they stop wiggling. engine off, valve closed tighten till the push rod stops spinnning, make sure the lifter doesn't start on flat cams then tighten 1/2 turn more. engine running loosen till it ticks then tighten till it stops then 1/2 turn more
