Just Ordered My Cam and Springs, One Question??
LIke the topics says, I just ordered the Comp 268XE cam with matching springs.
I didn't order new locks and retainers, should I have? I only have 15k miles on this engine. One of those was cheap can't remember which but the other was quite expensive like $50 or so.

Depends on what retainers & keepers are there now...
If they're stock, throw them in the trash immediately. If they're already the right thing, and they have that few miles, and they're in good shape, then you can re-use them.

The guy at summit said that the stock ones should work, but he recommended getting comp ones.
And yes, they're the stock ones. Looks like I'm about to spend another $50 tomorrow.
