The thing that's circled is the cruise control servo. Its hose gives it vacuum from the cruise regulator, which is what makes it pull on the throttle.

I don't know the vacuum hose routing for your car, but that should give you a clue where to look.

On my car theres a round vacuum canister inside the passenger side fender that a vacuum line goes in. I would look for that(it's kind of hidden)

There are two vacuum ports on the back of the passenger side plenum. I believe the rear most one is the one it should connect to. The line should come out of the rear hole in the plemun then it Y's one goes I forget where and the other piece of the Y should connect to that vacuum hose. Just route it behind the plemun and connect it.

no thats not it

That is not right. Hey someone please step up here. This is a total nightmare. The vacuum lines on this car are completely screwed up. The one pictured above goes absolutely nowhere that I can find, and I found another disconnected vacuum hose!! This one is pictured below:

Dude whats not right about it? In your picture the piece I told you it should be connected to appears to be connected to nothing. I'm just going by where my hose is hooked up on my completely stock untouched motor. I could be wrong.

they're hooked to something..

those two connections that you're talking about, they're red and blue on my picture. They are both hooked up to something already, and it looks right. the one on the rearmost part of the engine there is highlighed in red. It goes to some doohickey that should be mounted to the firewall, but in my case it is just hanging down unmounted. Then the other connection right beside it on the plenum is going up under the plenum to some sort of unit. The green arrow at the left side of the picture indicates that this hose goes up into the firewall. This car will hardly run right now. I need some big help or I'll have to call a cab to get to work !!

Well, I guess I'll have to fork out some more money to my mechanic. Can't seem to get any answers. Dang, and I'm broke too.

The one that goes up should run around back to the firewall. Along that and then get t'ed into the lines running from the last outlet on the plenum on the pass side.
