getting that 383 in will only be the first 1/3 of you trip. You still have to do tuning and burn a prom to get all that ci goodness to work right with the tpi. I still need to do some, ummm... ALOT of tuning. my engine makes around 340 ft-lbs of torque at 2600 RPMS and around a whole wopping 185 HP at 3200 RPMS. Youd think i put a diesel in or something Lol... dont use the stock crapifolds with it, either. Save yourself soe time and get nice headers before you put it in. Those spark plug wires are a dead givaway for the stock manifolds. Anyhow.. happy swapping! wish i had a nice 383 and a tpi setup.

i'm putting in a 6 speed, and we've found a place that is going to burn a chip for us, i'm paying a mechanic to install all this so I guess he'll be able to get it all running right i hope so anyway.

The TPI is your problem. You'll never get the most power out of it. Get an LT1 intake, HSR, or... switch to carb.

I'm ignorant when it comes to mechanical knowledge, the mechanic that's installing all this seems to think the current intake will work good. If it doesn't then i'll be bugging you guys on what to do next. If i'm considering putting a LT1 intake on it could I go ahead and put a LS6 intake on it or would the cost and benefit be not worth it?

With all that money you seem to have, why not just buy the rest of what the LS6 intake goes on top of.

bollox the ls6 intake will not work on that motor.
Lt1 intake needs to be modified to work.

If money didn't matter I would of got an LS6 and sent it to Halltech for the twin turbo setup they have.
