What would happen if...
if your talking abot the charcoal canister(which i believe you are)
take it off. get 2 feet of 5/16 tubing and run that from the hose that comes from the tank to under the car (mine is infront of the fender and ziptied up. the use a cap to plug off the port on the TB that the other hose was going to.
and as for the sensor thats plugged into it, cover it with electrical tape (so it dosen't get damaged) and tuck it away. you wont throw a code or anything.
BTW: why do you want to plug the line?
the only reason i got rid of mine is because it was an eyesore.
