Everyone with a vortec V8 step inside----->

For those that have a vortec v8 in their thirdgens, post your track times/dyno numbers!!!

I know there are a lot of guys using the vortec setup now, I'm curious to see how everyone is doing compared to what the magazines are saying


my last gtech time was a 13.9@107 which i think is kinda slow for a vortec 350
I'm hoping with tuning to get close to 105mph at the track.

10.18 @ 130mph. No, not really. I wish I had those numbers you are asking for, then I would have a stronger foot to stand on.

I know Vortec is a good engine . But , I read an article in a mag where Vortec heads flow better than some aftermarket heads . They are REALLY AWESOME heads .:rockon:

Finally got mine to the track,
ran a 14.2@98 with a 2.3 60'

a brand new LS1 collector TA was running 14.2 as well yesterday
so i dunno if it was a slow day or if my car is just slow
