My '82 Trans Am's speedo bit the dust today. I would like to keep the stock speedo, and rebuild it if I can. I have seen speedo rebuild kits for Corvettes but none for Trans Ams. Does anyone know if they exist? Also if there are no kits does anyone know a good rebuilder? If not does anyone know where I can find a NOS '82 - '84 Trans Am speedo? (I know finding a NOS one is a long shot but worth a try). Thanks in advance for any help.

 

Speedometers themselves almost never die... I'd check the cable(s) and the cruise regulator if you have cruise and the driven gear in the trans
