<--Fininshed Swap but no start-->
Ok I finished the 350 swap, and I go to start it for the first time but nothing. There was no starting click or anything, complete silenece. Ok, I know the battery is good, and all the grounds are good(i have two grounds in the back of the drivers side head, and 3 in the back of the passenger side head and 1 on the front of the passenger side head that goes to the negative battery cable). On the starter the purple wire is attached and 3 wires go to the big post. I have put the shifter in park many times and the neutral safety switch worked fine before. What else could be wrong? I have not tried to jump the starter and have not checked the starter to see if it was getting power. How do I jump the starter and if I was to wire up the starter to a push button switch how would I do so?
Thanks,
Brady

Somehow on my first engine swap I killed my neutral saftey switch. It worked before the swap and I have no clue what happened in between. The easiest way I know to test it is to see if your hatch will pop(with the button on the console). It will only operate in neutral or park just like the starter.
If that's not the problem you can easily jump some power to the starter solenoid to see if the starter or solenoid is dead. Run a wire from the small post on the starter (I think that's the purple one in your case) then to a switch, then to the positive battery terminal. Reconnect the battery, turn the key to the 'On' position and then flip the switch to see if anything happens. Don't forget to shut the switch off if your car starts.

does any accessories get power? (dome light, radio, gauges) if not i would think it would have something to do with the main power to the fusebox, maybe a fusible link blown, make sure you have a good ground for the battery, and check make sure no fuses are blown. Jumping the solenoid shoulda worked i would check the bat.
