when my car it idles and drives fine. once it warms up, the idles wont drop down like they are supposed too unless you pop the gas. but when i take off with light throttle, it opens on its own and speeds up to like 1500 with out me hitting the gas and it wont come down from there unless i pop the gas pedal. whats goin on? its a 600 edelbrock electric choke. didnt start doing this until after cam swap.

 

Check for binding in the throttle linkages, cables, etc. Also check the choke bimetallic spring adjustment and vacuum operated pull off (if equipped), high idle cam, and choke linkages.
