HELP! Cam Bearing...

Hey guys, I just got the GM Base 350 crate engine back in march and have put a little over 1000 miles on it since then. I've been having trans problems, so I figured since the car's off the road i'd replace the cam cuz I wasn't satisfied with the lift that it had. Upon removing the cam, I noticed discoloration across the front cam bearing, and a score across it aswell. Wondering if anyone would know what this is from, and wether it is deatly or not. You can see the score on the back, it goes around the bearing, it's right where the bearing goes from dark to light along the back. I don't konw if it is just from the breakin of the engine, or if something is wrong with the bearings or cam itself. Please check out these pictures and let me know what you all think. I don't know wether I can keep this as-is, or if I have to rip the engine out and get the bearings replaced. Please help, let me know what you think. Thanks

hard for me too tell from the pics, you want the supply hole at 5 o'clock, doesn't look like it is to me in the one pic. cam bearings run a wide clearance, .005 or so. looks like it picked up a piece of dire and ran it around the bearing too.
