Is this an umbrella seal pictured below.

I asked for them at Autozone and that is what they gave me,

the thing making my question it is that I read they go on the exhaust valve, but these say they are for the intake.

that thicker metal band comes off of the seal in the picture.

so do I put these on the exhaust valves even though it says they are for the intake, could I put them on intake and exhaust

or do I just put the O ring kind of seal on the intake and put these umbrella things on the exhaust.

that's a posiloc seal, put those on the intake valves, the metal band clamps onto the guide. umbrella seals dont have metal on them and look like, well short condoms with a flat top and a hole for the valve in the tip lol

 

you could use them on both, some people don't like to though. the little o rings are worthless, and unbrells just dryup and crack.
My AFR's have them on both
