I have a 3.1 92 RS w/ about 125,000 miles, and pretty recently, usually when it's pretty humid outside and I come to a stop, the light turns green, I accelerate for about 2-3 seconds, and the RPM's quickly drop and I stop accelerating, it feels like I'm getting no gas. This will happen a couple of times in about 10-15 seconds, and it finally seems to stop when I get to the higher speeds. It only happens when I attempt to get to highway speed, and sometimes when I accelerate hard off of a stop. It almost feels like the motor is about to stall, but there aren't any clicking or shaking noises, it just happens automatic, like the fuel system is clogged (?). I thought maybe it would be the injectors, so I got some injector cleaner and dumped it in yesterday and drove it around till about a half tank yet, and it seems like it's getting worse? Any suggestions on what it is? Anyone else have this problem in the past? Thanks.

 

Fuel filter or fuel pump. I'd change them in that order.
