Aluminum Vette heads verse Iron Sportsman IIs, which would you get.

Well , I finally have the money to get some good heads. I might have the chance to get some aluminum vette heads for $400. Thing is, I would need new valve covers or get an adaptor kit, which I assume is another $50 or so. Also, I'd have to have the heads checked out by a shop I take it, so that there adds some money. Porting the heads would add more as well.

Or I could get some Iron Sportsman IIs..

So, which would you get?

or feel free to suggest something else.

GM claims its Fast Burn heads heads are worth 30 hp on a ZZ4.

A little over $1100.00 at gmpartsdirect.com, including shipping. Check out the description that is included with p/n 12464298 such as a 383 stroker putting out 497 hp. GM claims those heads will flow enough air to support over 500 hp! :hail:
