Regarding t-top equipped cars, did they all come with these inserts? I have never seen these before.

Mine did. I still have them but never use them any more.

describe these inserts im not sure what you are talkin about

 

it's like a cloth board the same color as your head liner that fits in the slot to cover your t-tops, its good for HOT summer months.

They were a small option if I'm not mistaken. My '86 never had any, and I haven't seen a pair in person yet. I think they'd be neat to have around...... if I hadda t-top car again Ah well, the price of a power and tranny upgrade I guess

 

I've got my originals. They were a $25.00 option in '86 (I've got the window sticker) even have their own RPO code.................

 

I have the billing invoice for my car. How would I know if they came with the car or not? What's the RPO on them?

The RPO is DE4. Sunshield, Removable Hatch Roof. Have you checked out the RPO Decoder from the Home page? The front windshield even had an optional sunshield, actually 2, one was with pockets, one had extensions. I only have the roof sunshield. Got all this from the Decoder. When I go home today I'll verify the RPO from my build sheet and window sticker......

I've never even heard of them before, my 82 z-28 definitely doesn't have them.
