block weight

does anybody know what a bare small block weighs, I have two I am selling and am being asked to possibly ship them. thanks

I'd say try a search, I know this has come up before, but not sure if you'll find the bare block weight.

A naked block is about 180 lbs.

If your house is like mine you would have a house scale laying around collecting dust. If you use it make sure you clean it off. The old ladies dont like grease on there feet

I have heard that a bare 350 block is 196 lbs. With the rotating assembly in, I would add another 50-75.
