Found the heads I will be ordering 2 last ?s.

As someone recommended I found some Pro Lightning heads for $675 complete.
I plugged the head flow #s into DD2000 and it blew away the Sportsman IIs and Darts.
Now, 2 questions I have. Which size runner should I get 180cc or 200cc? for my current setup. I'm not too sure about my later mods, as if I'll get a new roller cam, or new motor, or stroke this one.

Also, says it doesn't come with steam holes, do I need them?

Definately go with the 200cc. You might lose a little low end torque, but the higher RPM gain will be well worth it. It should compliment the longer duration of that cam and the 3.73s well. YOU NEED A HIGHER STALL CONVERTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A 750 CFM carb would help a ton too.

Steam holes are only needed on 400 blocks.

I'll be adding a 2800 stall and a 650 dp, hmm, guess I need to readjust those flow #s then.

.700, hmmm.

The advertised flow #'s on Pro Action's site range from .100 - .700 " lift.

They ARE CORRECT. Make sure in DDyno2k that it's at 28" water.

Explain the .700 lift comment?

Have you even checked the flow numbers? It has the peak CFM for .100-.700 lift, not just .700, unless that was a typo.

What cam , intake etc are you using?

I just ran a 350, 9:1 compression ratio, 750cfm carb, dual plane intake, mild Comp Cams XE268 cam and got

372 HP @ 5500 RPM
394 ft/lbs @ 4500 RPM

Here's the screenshot

And what exactly would you be complaining about on a 370+ HP stock bore 350 with 400 ft/lbs of torque?

With 20 percent loss, that's almost 300 HP at the REAR WHEELS.

That's stock LS1 territory on a Goodwrench crate motor

Hold on, I'm about to have a heart attack, my bro says my cam box says 268H when I ordered teh 268XE, and the cam card said I had the XE one.

I will be using a 650DP, I have a Weiand Stealth intake too.

I'll be getting a 2800 or so stall by Xmas.

I was only complaining, because earlier when I entered it at 1" water, it showed over 400hp, that's all.

I understand where the earlier reply came from about the flow being measured a .700" lift...

In Summit's catalog they list the Pro Action's PEAK cfm #'s, but they list the #'s at .700" lift, which are useless on a street engine.

Lingenfelter states that 200 cc heads are too big for a 350 street eng.
He recommends 170-180cc for 350 and 383 street engs.
I finally went with ported L98 heads on my TPI 383 build-up.

If I was only driving it to and from the dragstrip, I would consider 200cc heads. Otherwise I'd stick with the smaller one and keep my low-end and mid-range.
