ok it looks like I need to replace a bushing on the throttle body somwhere. However I don't where on the throttle body it is located or anything. I looked in the haynes repair manual for instructions on how to remove/replace the bushing and I can't find any. Please help.

 

mmm why do u think u need to replace it? like what symptoms are u haviing and who\what told u to replace the t.b. bushing?

 

a while back we took the car in to the dealership to get the alternator replaced. After they replaced it they said that one of the throttle body bushings might need to be replaced.

Currently the car is having idle problems. It starts up fine and runs fine for the most part. Just when you try to coast the cars rpms drop about 500 then go up past the normal idle by about 500. I can't give you specific numbers cause the tac is broken. Also when you come to a stop the rpms surge about 250-500 rpms higher then drop down to a normal/steady idle.

btw the car is a 1990 camaro RS with 3.1 v6 not positive if it is TBI or MPFI but I think it is TBI.
