Summit and Pro Lightnings...

Before anyone says something, no I haven't had the chance to order my heads yet, b/c I had the money in 2 separate accounts.

Anyways, I will be ordering them this week. And someone posted a link to an aluminum pair for $840 or so.. In summit they're $1100, and, they say they'll match any competitors price. Before I call them, and ask, I have a feeling they're going to give me a run around as to why they can't match this one. Anyone have any tips to get them to honor it, just be an azz about it, or what?

Anyone ever dealt with Summit and this claim I'd appreciate the help.

I thought they were "Pro Action" heads, and the model was "Iron Lightning". Shows what I know. It appears they've now changed the name to "Pro Topline" and the new name for the heads is "Pro Lightning" (or, "Pro Thunder" for BBC engines). If you have trouble finding a distributor, visit their site: http://www.procylinderheads.com/

Yes, they said they do carry them, but won't honor the lower price.
