Choke problem

my choke light keeps coming on and off at random times when im under 40 mph and it makes this buzzing noise(almost like a bee or a fly). i just went and brought the car to get a sticker today and i was wondering if the guy who looked at it might have done something to the choke druing inspection. the warning mostly comes on when im going under 40,also, when im in park sometimes it comes on and the power on my battery goes up all the way and sorta bounces back and fourth real fast.. i dont know what it is, the car just started doing it today so mr. inspection must have done something. the book says i might blown a cicut or sumething but how i can solve this problem, cause i dont want anything to happen to my bird.

This gets covered in initimate detail at least a couple of times a month, I've expained it several times just in the last week (it being that time of the year); do a search in this forum and the Carb board on "choke light" and "alternator" in the same post under my userID, you'll get the answer.
