Engine continues to run after the car key is off???
Well, once again its an 86 T/A LG4, I just fixed the choke and it still tries to run a few seconds after I turn the key, but it doesn't do it all the time, what could cause this?

Dolph,
Does the carb have an idle speed solenoid? If so, you may need to adjust that to the correct low RPM with the solenoid deactivated.
In either case, you should check the base timing, hot idle RPM, idle mixture, and spark plug heat range.
Any vacuum leak can contribute to a high idle, lean condition, hot chambers, and run-on. Make sure the hoses and gaskets are in good condition.
As for carbon accumulation, you can clear away a lot of carbon by introducing water into the intake with the engine running at normal full operating temperature and a high idle. The water tends to soften carbon/coking deposits so the normal airflow through the engine can flush them through.

Where would i find the idle speed solenoid if I have one?
Spark plug heat range is stock running some delco R43TS, but can running a larger gap cause it to run hotter?
I will check the base timing but I'm pretty sure its right.
As for the idle mixture do I follow typical manual procedures or what? screw them in all the way then back them out 2 1/2 to 3 turns?
How should I adjust the choke?
It also runs hotter on the highway then in city traffic? I don't understand what could cause this.
