need some input.

Im in the market for a new starter, need to know weather i have a 168 tooth flexplater/flywheel or 153. Also im looking at the powermaster, dunno weather to go with like a regular full size vrs. the high torque mini starters. Have heard good things about the mean green starters. Not sure wich name brand to go with. I would greatly appreciate any input i could get.

"Need Input" Isn't that what #5 on Short Circuit said?

It's whether not weather. Weather is rain, snow and the such.

OK, I'm done giving you a hard time, .

More than likely the parts store will be able to tell you what you have when you go ask for a starter.

Rebuilds are touchy, hit and miss. Lots and lots of people have trouble with them...........but, most of them have a life time warranty and are cheap.

Tell us about your car.

if y ou didnt already get the starter a go to a kragen (i think its checkers or shucks in other parts of the country) or napa and autozone. they have comupters that can tell you exactly what you need for any part on your car as long as its not modified. besides that, ac delco makes good parts that are usually oe replacements. by th e way i just put a new starter on, and i know that an acdelco starter is like 50 bucks and has a lifetime warrenty.
