Need some verification/advice on cam
I have a 1990 305 LO3 TBI stock.
I am converting to TPI and since I am at it I was thinking of putting in a LT1 cam.
From what I have read it will work because I have a roller lifters correct?
Will I have to make any other changes or need any other parts?
I do plan on putting on headers/free flowing exhaust when I have the $. But since I will be working on the engine, while I have it apart I thougt it would be a good time to bump up the cam a bit.
Thoughts?

You wont need anything special to swap that cam in. The ONLY thing you're gonna have to do is shorten the little dowel pin that comes out of the nose of the cam. The LT1 cam's pin should be longer then normal so it needs to be shortened. Try to tap it in with a small hammer.
I'd go with a small aftermarket cam though. Maybe even an LT4 cam.
And yes you do have hydraulic roller lifters.
