No crank, silinoid clicking

siliniod is clicking but the starter is not ingaging, ill come back 15 minutes later and strarts right up? bad siliniod or could it be something else, i replaced the starter about three months ago.. could it be vats ? i thought if it clicks i was was good to go power wise, i just dont want to beleve i need a nother starter.. what do u guys think?

Could be the solenoid sticking. Verify all the connections are tight and remove and clean the terminal connections at the battery. Corroded terminal can do that.

cold or hot, happened after sitting all day after work, waited an hour and came back and started right up. I tryed hitting the starter, but no dice.a nother time i drove it stoped after drivign to get gas and it didnt start up for a 20 minutes. slick click from teh siliniod but no ingagement. Im at a loss. BAtery is new with no corosian at the termainals. I checked all conections and they are all tight nothing loose......

maybe the power wire to the started has a bad connection... other that that replace the solenoid... sounds like its bad to me
