Lurching at stop...

After my car is warmed and I stop at a light or somewhere I may have to wait for a little while, it feels like the car is intermittantly trying to lurch forward. When in neutral, the idle is perfect and driving is not affected. Anybody got any ideas?

Im having the same problem... I reset timing, checked IAC, TPS, Min. idle air, and even cleaned the TB butterflys... Still does it. I had major idle problems before, and it turned out to be my ECM...I just hope its not happening again. Oh...could also be a vac leak somewhere... I had a crack in my intake hose right off the TB, that cause some issues too. Good luck hunting it down, let me know if you find a cure.

the idle is around 8 or 850... at first I thought it was being caused by idle problems.. my belt was becoming worn and the tension arm was jumping slightly. Found out that the Thermac wasn't spinning correctly. Replaced it and the belt. That fixed the sporatic idle but it still tries to creep forward but only when at operating temp.

800-850 in DRIVE? The idle RPM in DRIVE should be no more than 650 RPM.
