need help with a code 13

i just installed headers and now im getting a code 13. the weird part is that the light comes on after about 15 minutes of running then goes off for like 30 then backon for like 15 more minutes. im confused can someone help?

It is your O2 sensor ( Oxygen Sensor ). Did you reinstall it or maybe you forgot to plug it in. You have to be carefull with those thigs to, if you drop them, they will break. Hope this Helps??

And make sure the O² is well grounded. Aside from that, headers are often responsible for oxygen sensor troubles since the exhaust gasses cool much faster in the tubing than in a cast manifold, thereby preventing the sensor from maintaining adequate heat to generate a good signal. Many times, a heated sensor is the final solution.

i also just realized that the light only comes on while cruising at a constant speed for 15 or more minutes. i can drive around that city all i want and it doesnt come on.

thanks for the link, i guess tomorrow i will check and make sure that all of the connections are good. hopefully it just wont be plugged in all the way somewhere along the line. just in case where can i get a heated o2 sensor? would any parts store have this or do i have to order it off the internet?

Everybody has HO2S - even AutoZone and places like that. They are usually about $50-60 US.

You can "rig" the heaters, or install a relay like this:
