Help Fast!!!!

ok, I drive my car 80 miles a day to work and back, every day. I have a carbed 400, and I believe the rear main seal is leaking bad, so I keep an eye on it. Well, on my way home, I look over, and the oil pressure is at ZERO!!! I freak out and pull over to the nearest gas station and check the oil. It doesn't even read on the dipstick, so I put 2 quarts in, and it's till low! I put another in and fire it up. I let it idle ofr a bit, then began driving it home down the freeway. Now it won't hold anything over 15psi under load, and at idle it sits at zero. There's literally no pressure under 1800 rpm, and it won't go over 15 psi. I look under the car when I get home, and the whole underside is thinly coated by oil. I'm freaking out because I work every day, and I can't afford a day without my car....anybody know what's going on and what I can do?

not sure your oil leak and you lack of oil preasure are related. put a mechanical gauge on the engine and see what you really have. it'd also be a good idea not to let the engine run out of oil.

I put 2 quarts in 3 days ago. I didn't realize that it dripped THAT much until tonight.

When was the last time you checked the oil level?
