Best HP for Head Cam Combination......
I've got an 87 Iroc-Z with Tuned Port Injection, I'm wondering what would be the best Head/Cam Combo would be best for my New 305 Block.....I have As Follows.....
305 Tpi
Hooker Comp Shorties,
True Dual Side Dumped 40 Series,
And Well that's Basically it...

Does'nt anyone have any good configurations I was either going to do Vortec with the Vortec Intake manifold or go with SR Torquer 305's and have em polished and ported. But I'm not sure on which Cams are Good With which... I want a good cam that will run a little rough but not too much.

Most folks find that the GM LT1 roller cam works very well with the 305 TPI. I'd keep it fuel injected if that is the way it is now. You can port the runners for a bit more flow.
