LT1 intake? Are you going with TPI? If you are hell no that cam iw freakin huge. You can't spin the motor that high.

CC 305 would be a great cam with your setup. Just get some custom tuning and you should be all set.
There's alot of LT1 guys at CamaroZ28.com running that cam.

Seems to be way too much duration for a computer controlled car....Just don't fall into the bigger is better trap, play it aggressive yet smart..

I don't know what you guys are smoking, but I'd like some of it please.
I'm running 230-236 .604-.608 and friends are running the ZZX cam from TPIS which is 240 .050 duration. All the cars run fine. As long as you modify the chip, your all good. I don't think there is a limit to the size of a cam, just the ability to tune it.

Also remember that the added cubes reduce the power peak rpm. Mine peaks at 6000-6100 and so does the friend's car with the ZZX. Both are 383's. The CC306, the XE230-236, XE236-242, and the ZZX are all good choices. Call Cam Motion and have them grind you a custom cam, or call comp, they will grind you one slightly cheaper. You don't have to pick a cam out of a catalog anymore, it's about the same price for a custom grind.

It's a little bit much for a 350, but probably a good choice for a 383. 220°/230° with the longer stroke ought to behave just about like 214°/224° would in a 350.
If you don't mind some chip tuning the 306 would give you some extra top end. Unlike TPI, with the LT1 intake you can actually benefit from setting the motor up for higher RPMs.

i would say that the CC305 is too small... with that intake you will be able to spin it up to 6500 easy... a 305 is a good cam for a mild headed 350 so it would be somewhat small in a 383... i would do the CC306 or the 230/236... but that is just my $.02
