What air cleaner should I get???

I just bought a Holley double pumper carb (P/N 4778-5), so I can switch my car from TPI to carb. I was wondering what air cleaner assembly will fit this carb (open element, and hood clearance isn't an issue, as I have a cowl hood). Also, am I going to need to do anything special for the throttle linkage? I have an 84 Camaro parts car with all the throttle linkage if that helps. Thanks in advance.

do you have an intake for your new holley carb? as for air cleaner...why not a just any old open element air cleaner, like a 14" one, with a 3" or 4" tall K&N filter.

i used a spector i think that was the name, bracket for my carb . i've got a th350 so i needed one with a kick down bracket, if you've got a 700 you'll needsomething different for yours. any filter with a 5 1/8 holes will fit. a k&n would be your best bet

Yeah, I'm getting an Edelbrock RPM Performer air gap manifold. The stock bracket won't work? Thanks.

That intake causes a lot of trouble for hood clearance. Talk to F-Bird'88 and he will steer you to a good Corvette drop base aircleaner assembly that works well with the stuff you want to use

normally you would be right, but he said he has a cowl hood, therefore no clearance problems.

Personally I like the Moroso open element drop base 'racing' setup. Their words, not mine.
