I bought this stuff that was recomended to me by a mechanic that you add to your oil when you change it. It's supposed to swell up the seals in the car so it doesn't burn oil as easy. Someone else told me that when this wears out that the seals will shrink even more. Should I use this stuff? Thanks.

 

im always hesitent to add stuff to the oil. The only true fix would be to fix the things taht are causing the engine to consume oil, like vavle guide seals.
