Engine seals leaking

I replaced the rear main bearing oil seal on an 82 Firebird 2.8 V6. I only drive the car once a week just to give it some exercise while I am restoreing it. It worked fine for about two weeks and now there is a small leak on it. I fitted the two piece seal kit. I know that there is a one piece seal but I don't have the facilities to take out the engine so I fitted the two piece seal. I also done the front seal two weeks ago and I checked it last night and there were a few drops of oil on the ground. It was not there while the engine was running. I put some stuff through the oil to soften seals and prevent engine wear but I cannot see how that would cause the problem. Can some please help?

Check that your PCV system isn't clogged. If so pressure builds up in the crankcase and oil starts seeping out.

I replaced the PCV valve and filter the weekend. I checked the system out and there is suction all the way through so it is working proprerly. I ran the car and the leaks are still there. Anyone got any suggestions as to what next I should check/do

gholian,
  1. Not to question your ability, but are yousure it's the rear main seal and not the rear saddle of the oil pan gasket?
  2. Also, what "seal conditioner" did you add to the oil? Many of those additives are little more than thinners, which might not be helping your situation.
  3. What's it like to have brewery fresh Guiness with your pretzel? All we get is the draft in barrels that is suppoesed to be as good as it gets.
