ive read .006" of milling is about 1cc
so you would need to shave approx 35 thou of your heads.
alot of people say those are thin head castings and are prone to cracking.
most people wont reccomend spending time or money on these heads.

882's are not that bad but they are the best of the worst. If they have a single exhaust crossover then the chance of them being cracked is low. If you can stick a coat hanger in both center exhaust ports and it comes out on the intake side through both, then you have a couple of paper weights. Most of those will be cracked.
If you want to go from 76 to 70cc, you have a better chance with some 993 castings. They're a heavier casting and will allow more metal to be taken off.
