mini cowl induction on stock hood
could you take some of that weatherstripping off that is right in the back of the hood for air flow in there sort of like a cowl induction. i have an open element air filter and i would like to get some cooler air to it.

You can take that off and it will let hot air out better, help cooler air get to the cleaner from under and in front of the car, but I dought you will get much if any any performance increase, you can try it, just keep the rubber in case it leaks too much rain into the engine.

i have a cowl scoop (same as rileys) the 2.5" Harwood and whenever it is raining i see water go off the back of the cowl then on its way down it goes into the space between the hood and scoop. the water droplets prolly go 3" to 4" into the hood before the hit the hood. i do have a hole cut in the hood for the air cleaner. so i know there is a good amount of air going in right there........
